A bed for the night in a room that smelt of smoke! Place is very dated and most services not open as undef refurb... not sure why that means you can't get a glass of water in the bar, though! Pool closed etc Did what we needed for the night, but certainly won't rush back!

Sajnos ebben a hotelben is vannak kutyák.lent az ebédlő melett a " nappali részen egy " férfi" a kanapén feküdt teljes hosszában ugy hogy a cipőjét levéve a lábát felrakva a kanapé karfájára.ez gusztustalan .szerintem igy legfeljebb otthon csinælhat. ráadásul 3- 4 kutya ott rohangált mert póráz sem volt rajtuk. Ha már kutyák is vannak egy szálláshelyen akkor el kellene választani a helyet.és a szobákat is .legyenek külön olyan szobàk ahová csak a kutyásokat teszik.mert vannak olyan rendes emberek is akik kutyamentes helyen szeretnének aludni ha màr kifizetik a sok pénzt.az alergiás emberek is.

If you're just looking for somewhere to sleep, then this is the place,I'm not saying that in a bad way as the hotel is under néw management and going through a massive refurbishment ,most of the facilities are unavailable but it was a lovely place to stay and the Staff were very helpful, courteous and polite, they dealt with any issues I had very quickly

The bed was comfortable 👍but the rest not , you have to pre order breakfast cost £10 each ,not worth it ordered yogart did not arrive they had none 😫 only tea and coffee no herbal teas no sweetness, breakfast not quite what ordered missing parts oh no hot water for tea and coffee. Breakfast arrived sausage tasteless scrabble eggs inedible beans cold toast non toasted so not good . Told sorry cook on his own . So in summing up if you just want a bed 🛌 it's OK. Mentioned disappointment about breakfast to reception reply cook was on his own. Definitely not 4stars

The staff were friendly but the hotel is very run down. The carpet was very worn through in places, the bin hadn't been emptied since the last person used the room and the phone was filthy. The worst bit was the "king" bed. It was actually two worn singles with mental edges so the middle of the bed was like the Berlin Wall

The smell of damp was from the main hallway to our room. We entered the room, and the first thing was the damp smell. We booked the hotel for the pool and sauna, but I received a text message on the about everything being shut, including the restaurant, but they didn't mention it at the time of booking.

Do not stay here unless you want to be get a parking ticket I have spoken with reception ample times to be told they have sorted and now have received a court letter, can’t get hold of anyone at reception now shock! Terrible service

Not the best hotel in Grantham. The staff in general are not professional and the service can be slow. The hotel used to be great when it was the Swallow Hotel and then the Marriott. That was when they had standard's. Nowadays it is definitely second rate, with a rundown appearance in some parts of the hotel. They also cancelled all bookings to take in refugees. Whilst I appreciate the act of kindness, some people were let down at the last minute and had their special day ruined. This won't encourage loyal customers to return.

honestly, the event we came for was the best part. The hotel itself is pretty grim. We had a dead moth in our room, lumpy pillows, it smells off and just old and musty. Needs a whole new revamp. On top of all this, not only was I ID’ed upon arrival which I’ve never experienced before - but I was also LIED to at the bar and told last orders have been called, only to them be approached again 20 minutes later and was told “I’m taking last orders now if you wanna come up”. I went up to the bar to order my drink and was faced by who I’m assuming is the manager who then checked my ID. As flattered as I am being ID’ed twice in one place - communication clearly lacks. On top of that, you seemed to think I was offended over being ID’ed - this was not the case. I’m offended I was lied to and not asked for ID straight away. It’s obvious the place’s target audience is not the young😂

Comfortable , good staff clean amazing beds ,but no restaurant to speak of but what we had was good . The dar needs help not meany mixes for brinks not many vegetarian options breakfast. Fruit juice limited. Scrambled egg quality bland no poached egg

Great place to have your wedding reception. I also tried out the spa recently and my treatments were so relaxing! Worth a visit

This hotel doesn't even deserve a 1 star! From arriving at reception it was a miserable experience, not welcoming at all! The room smells so old and musty and there are cobwebs in the bathroom. The noise level is a joke all through the night, banging of doors and people arguing. Go to the Premier Inn a few mins away, much cheaper, cleaner and quieter!
